codomomental bulletin #12

On November 8, it was announced that Shizuku Fufu was leaving Zenbu Kimi no Sei da. Although her last tweet of October 31 was nothing unusual, and she even briefly mentioned the upcoming Yokohama concert, she was absent at the show on November 3. According to the official twitter, it was because of personal reasons. Another worrying thing was that November 3rd was exactly two years after Fufu’s first performance as a member of Zenkimi. What could have made her miss such a date? At the next two shows, on November 5 and 6, the girl was also absent, and the official reason was the same. At the same time, Fufu’s Twitter was totally silent. But on the 8th there followed an official statement announcing the girl’s departure from the group, and citing as the reason a breach of contract and her own choice.

You can say whatever you want to me, whether on the Internet or at the venues. You can get angry and hit me. You can even stab me in an alleyway. I’m not going to report you. Both the members and I tried our best. And nothing else.

You know, achieving dreams is really not easy.
Life is really hard.
It’s really tough to live.
It’s hard to keep on doing something.
I don’t want to suffer anymore.
I can barely stand it.
And yet there are people who dream about the same things I do.
There are people who hold my hand.
There are people with whom we laugh and cry like fools together. Lots of people. And one of those people was Fufu.

At times like this, I just don’t know what or how to tell you.
I even think let the world just end today.
But if someone’s words can hurt someone at times, I’d rather cry over those words together.
And not let someone hurt someone else, not let someone fall into evil. I really want that.

Fufu, with whom we joined the group at the same time and went through everything together, our memories and the time we spent together – I will never forget them, and Zenkimi will keep moving forward.
I want to always be with you. I hope for your support👶

Things aren’t always so bright and rosy, it’s often painful and hard, but still, I’ve never stopped believing in myself standing on stage, and no matter where I have to start, I will keep trying to be someone that you and myself can be proud of. Thank you for always being there for me. Fu-chan, thank you🌂

Before, we tried our best together with Fufu, but now we will try our best as five. I don’t want to stop, I’ll grow even bigger, so follow me, I love you all.
Be with me, I’ll make you happy, and you, Fufu, too, be happy = – ̫ – =

Having spent such a busy time together, I’m so glad we were able to perform together in such different places! Fut-tan, thank you. It’s a job that can be hard, but it makes me even happier, and while you’re with me, I wish I could cry and laugh and sing and convey something beside you, so I want you to be with me. Thank you so much for everything.

On the same day, Fufu’s new account popped up on Twitter with just one tweet:

I’m really sorry it ended this way. Actually, I left the company on November 1 through a lawyer I hired. It’s not exactly as stated in the statement, but I didn’t do anything that I needed to hide. All this time I’ve only been able to move forward because of your support, thank you. And I’m sorry.

Later, Fufu announced an instalive, which will be held on November 14 at 21:00 (JST). Maybe she’ll talk more about her reason for leaving.

The group, in a shrunken lineup, has already held its first online release event for the new album “MeidaiShingi.” According to the members, the release is very comprehensive, both in terms of performance and in terms of the expression and philosophical themes raised on the album. According to Kisaragi Megumi, it is a release that contains a lot of different emotions, and because it is an album released by the group on the eve of the Budokan show, it was created as the last (it’s hard to say whether it should be taken unambiguously), and therefore everything was invested in it without a trace.

According to Japanese fans on Twitter, who have already received their copy of the album, the song “the other side of” will have English lyrics for the first time in the group’ history.

I understand more than anyone that just because I worked hard on something doesn’t mean people will listen to it, but I still want everyone to listen to it.

Meanwhile, information about KAQRIYOTERROR’s upcoming single, due for release on November 30, has started popping up in online stores. The single is called “Reaper feeder” and will contain a new song written by Mizutani Kazuki (for the first time after two years) as well as a re-recorded version of the group’ longtime hit “Identity Crisis”. A music video will be shot for the title song of the single.

Online retailers have also revealed the tracklisting for akugi’s upcoming album, “Bias Blur”:

01. IDOL? feat. ALL codomomental
02. BNZK feat. Kisaragi Megumi / Motochika Kasane
03. night watch – Kotetsu with akugi
04. Origin feat. Kagari Kohaku Sekai/Kisaragi Megumi
05. Life goes on feat. RЯ
06. Riddle FT feat. Nene Komochi
07. WEEKEND feat. Mary Lust
08. RAIN feat. Shizuku Fufu/Noa Rondo
09. Karappo feat. Yuzuriha Ouhi
10. meMania feat. nonamera

Apparently someone else will be replacing Shizuku Fufu on the eighth song, since it seems that album recording has just started and the release is still more than a month away.

TOKYO TEFUTEFU held another online talk release event to mark the release of the “Hyperphantasia” album. At the event, Mary Lust spoke about her lyrics to the song “teardrop.” Nobuhide Imamura was also present at the event, and he spoke at great length about his vision of the TOKYO TEFUTEFU concept.

Why “TOKYO TEFUTEFU”? “Tokyo” symbolizes the chaotic, vicious and inconstant nature of a large metropolis, which can be completely different depending on the place, where something good can be next to bad, beautiful to ugly, and bright to pale. And “Tefutefu” is “butterfly” in old Japanese spelling. Observing the flight of butterflies, which can often be quite chaotic, sometimes it may not be clear whether it is flying or actually falling. And in this regard, the image of such a crazy metropolis combines with the image of flight, when it is not clear whether you are flying or actually falling. The song “MISS SINS” by Yukueshirezusturezure also resonates with these images, which is why the group performs it from time to time. In the end, according to Imamura-san, he wanted to create a group that is as fun as it looks, and as beautiful as it looks.

The director also talked about his vision of the process of developing codomomental idol groups. In the very beginning, when Zenbu Kimi no Sei da was created, a certain genre scope was chosen for the project. And it can be said that the rest of the codomomental groups were created out of a desire to go beyond them. For example, Yukueshirezusturezure was born out of the desire to go deeper into dark hardcore like “ShitEnd Placebo”. And Kaqriyo Terror Architect was born out of a desire to dive into something crazy and fun like “Misfit Lovers”. Imamura-san also divides the groups development into two phases: the first, the initial phase, when he approaches the creative direction of the group using his own ideas, from release to release creating a certain narrative that resonates with the group development, which creates a kind of a base from which everything will be built upon, and the second, when the director is more based not on what he himself wants to express, but on the story that the members create together with the fans who support them.

Yuzuriha Ouhi, Tokanai Nonno and Mary Lust created their own Instagram accounts:

Why don’t I start my own Instagram?

A. I don’t understand how to use it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
