codomomental bulletin #14

Seireki13ya is back! On November 25, at a special event to celebrate Nobuhide Imamura’s birthday, a new lineup made their debut.

So, the new “Seireki” consists of four members:

Nene Komochi (寝こもち, “寝” means “to sleep”)
Color: White
Constellation: “Dawn Mischief Girl”

Yui Urari (結うらり, “結” means “to tie, to bind”)
Color: Pink
Constellation: “evening waiting for [someone]”

Who Runo (誰るの, “誰” means “who” and, judging by reports from fans who attended the debut concert, is pronounced like the English “who”)
Color: Blue
Constellation: “scattered drops [of tears?] in the night”

Yowa Minai (世みない, “世” means “world”)
Color: Green
Constellation: “Thread of Fate”

As you may notice, Nene Komochi, who previously had a green color, is now white and the green has been taken over by Yowa Minai.

The new “Seireki” lineup began their debut performance with a killer combination of the group’ most emotional songs: “Sekaisengoto” (the song that started it all), “ItoushiUtakataTo,” “Romantic Escape,” and “AikaHigurashi,” followed by a sharp turn toward one of their cutest hits – the girls performed “Baby Baby Cupid” and ended with the group’ symbolic song “OyasumiMirai to KoiOtome.”

Unfortunately, they hasn’t presented the group photos yet, but you can already get a glimpse of the members’ looks and outfits from the pictures of cheki posted by the fans on Twitter:

I kept our promise! Thank you for supporting me so much.

Last year on this day I felt so lonely and painful, I wanted to run away. But still you kept following me and waiting.

And now we can finally meet!

If I could go back a year, my message to that Komo-chan: thank you for protecting the group. And tomorrow the stellar story begins again. Together with the angel minions of the night (the name of the group’s fans) 💫

I was very touched by the rebirth of Seireki13ya, because I was there and saw how much Komochi rehearsed, and from the very dress rehearsal I couldn’t hold back from crying 👶🏻👶🏻

A colleague I can really respect.

To top it all off, this already incredibly emotional event opened with the song “daydream speaker” by akugi, in which Ama Mauru sang the part of Shiki Towa once again. There were surprises, too: Chimura Shifumi sang the Yamakomaro’s part in the song “r u serious?”

“akugi” is a project that I started when I was depressed about the pandemic and wanted to have a lot of fun with music.

I can’t guarantee what will happen to me or other people, so I created this album as a ‘first and last’. At this point it includes the last thing we can put into it musically.

In turn, Nonamera performed a new song, “Fearless,” featuring Motochika Kasane as guest vocalist.

Unfortunately, TOKYO TEFUTEFU was not in the best shape, as Nonno had fallen ill a few days earlier and Lust also had to miss the show for health reasons. As a result, the group suddenly had to perform in threes. Which they surprisingly did extremely well, according to fans’ impressions.

I really love our members so much that when I thought about everyone being with them and me not being able to meet them, I just wilted. I had to listen to the songs and recharge.
